My experience is that the ideal birth for one person might look scary for someone else. My goal for you is that you feel educated about your options and understand what you’re consenting to in labor. My job is to help you, logistically and emotionally, in pursuing those preferences. I have experience with queer families, high-risk pregnancies, and single parents. I also have experience supporting people with past medical trauma. My care is nonjudgmental, grounded in research, and collaborative.
Raised in Philly, I have lived in New York for fifteen years. In addition to my doula work, I am pursuing a Master's in Genetic Counseling at Icahn Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, deepening my clinical understanding of pregnancy, genetics, and newborn health. I live in Brooklyn, and in my spare time I like knitting and birdwatching. I am up to date on all my vaccines, including flu, TDAP, MMR and Covid.

…you have a unique family structure or feel you don’t fit into any one box. I have a particular interest in working with queer and trans families. I want to help everyone build families, even people who might not have a sperm and egg readily available.
…you are looking for advocacy around an identity that is marginalized in the healthcare setting
…you want support that is grounded in data, but you also have curiosity about the more unknown and spiritual parts of birth
