I am a queer birth and postpartum doula and certified lactation counselor living in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. After graduating from college, I worked at a large social services agency, where I learned about navigating bureaucracy while offering emotional and practical support. My passion is supporting families through transitions, which can be joyful and exciting, and can also be accompanied by anxiety and grief. I have found great fulfillment working with expecting families in my role as a doula. I am trained in Queer and Trans Reproductive Support and Comforting Touch. I believe that all birthing people, regardless of body type, gender, sexuality, race, and disability status, are entitled to dignified care that emphasizes their bodily autonomy and consent.

In 2021 I was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis, a genetic disease that causes benign tumor growth in vital organs. My own exposure to the American medical system informs my approach to birthwork.

In my free time, I love birding in Prospect Park, knitting vests, and going to the movies.

  • …you have a unique family structure or feel you don’t fit into any one box. I have a particular interest in working with queer and trans families. My passion is helping everyone build families, even people who might not have a sperm and egg readily available.

…you are looking for advocacy around an identity that is marginalized in the healthcare setting

…you want support that is grounded in data, but you also have curiosity about the more unknown and spiritual parts of birth
